Course Outline

Pupils will explore real-world topics and issues such as the weather and Climate Change, Natural Hazards such as volcanoes and earthquakes, Population, and Global Development. 

Pupils will learn to interpret maps, read and analyse data, use fieldwork skills, and understand how human and physical processes interact. These are practical, transferable skills that support learning across the curriculum and prepare learners for life beyond school.

Choosing Geography means choosing a subject that is relevant, engaging and rooted in the world around us. It empowers pupils to ask questions, solve problems and understand their place in an ever-changing global society. It’s a subject for thinkers, explorers and anyone who wants to make sense of how our planet works — and how we can shape its future.
