Parent/Carer Partners Information

Our school will be closed on Monday 23rd March to all young people, including those whose parents provide essential services.  This will allow a day for more robust planning to provide support for those young people whose parents/carers are key service providers. It is vitally important that we prioritise need and offer support based on available staffing.  Our Home Learning Packs are still available for collection here at the school - the school will be open after Monday next week to allow you to pick up your child's pack if you haven't already done so.

An update on provision for children of key workers will follow on Monday afternoon on the school's Twitter page, website and App.

Thank you for you continued support.

Home Learning Packs
Home Learning Packs

Home Learning Packs

Following yesterday's announcement from the First minister we will have a Home Learning Pack ready to collect for each pupil attending Cardinal Winning Secondary School during the day on Friday 20th March.  These packs include learning resources and links to online learning which will help ensure your young person's education can continue at home during this challenging time.  We realise that many of our young people will require support in order to engage with several of the tasks in the packs; please feel free to contact myself with any related queries.

I am aware that in some cases teachers have already sent learning packs home with young people - if you have already received a pack and are unsure if there is another additional pack to be collected, please phone and we will clarify.

If you have no means to collect your young person's pack from the school building, please phone/email to let us know and we will endeavour to home deliver packs as best we can.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership.  We wish all of our school community good health and safety during this time.

P Johnstone
