Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award (D of E)

For the past seven decades, D of E has inspired and transformed the lives of millions of young people from all walks of life.

The award offers young people the opportunity to develop life skills through working on the following areas :

* develop a new skill - e.g. Rookie lifeguard / first aid.

* commit to volunteering in their school or community  - e.g. school clubs / community food banks.

* develop their skills and abilities in a physical activity - e.g. football, badminton, athletics, basketball.

* take part in an expedition - bronze award = one night expedition.
