Lunchtime Clubs

We recognise the importance of learning in new ways, of supporting the development of friendships and the benefits of play and having fun in developing the wellbeing of our pupils. 

We also know that for some pupils the unstructured times of the school day can be daunting and so we try to ensure that there is at least one teacher led activity available to young people every day. In addition, there are several classrooms open at lunchtimes for those pupils who require a little extra support and/or a quieter space. These areas are supervised by our SFLW and are available as part of a planned support arrangement. 

Our lunchtime clubs this session are as follows: 

Monday:

Senior badminton  (Mr Logan gym hall) / Lego Club (Mrs Coogan, Room 5) / Chess Club (Mr McKie)

Tuesday: 

Maths Games (Mr Doherty, Room 10)

Wednesday:

Lego Club (Ms Reid, Room 2) / Art Clubs (Ms Ralph room 7, Mrs Braid room 3) / Fitness Suite open (S4-S6 only)

Thursday: 

Friday: 

Singing Hands (Mrs Taylor, Room 15)

We would encourage as many pupils as possible to come along and meet new friends in a supportive and relaxed atmosphere.
